This artwork by Mauro Corda achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in November last year. In the The Astute EyeContemporary Art from a Private London Collector Online auction, the work Memento Corpus sold for GBP 3,570.00 (€ 4,136.81) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Mauro Corda have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Contorsionniste IX. 2007. in June 2018 with an auction result of CHF 23,300.00 (€ 20,109.39).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Mauro Corda erzielte im November letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Astute EyeContemporary Art from a Private London Collector Online wurde die Arbeit Memento Corpus für GBP 3.570,00 (€ 4.136,81) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mauro Corda auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Contorsionniste IX. 2007. im Juni 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 23.300,00 (€ 20.109,39).
