Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Rue Norvins Et Place Du Tertre À Montmartre by Maurice Utrillo was sold in the Impressionist and Modern Art auction at Sothebys in Olympia in July 2007. The price achieved of GBP 27,600.00 (€ 40,992.37) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Maurice Utrillo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Paravent De Maurice Utrillo, 1939 in November 2010 with an auction result of EUR 835,540.00.

Die Arbeit Rue Norvins Et Place Du Tertre À Montmartre von Maurice Utrillo wurde im Juli 2007 in der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art bei Sothebys in Olympia versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 27.600,00 (€ 40.992,37) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Maurice Utrillo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Paravent De Maurice Utrillo, 1939 im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 835.540,00.
