A top price for Maurice Quillinan
In May 2006 Christies in London held the auction Irish Sale Part II, which included the work Yellow Field At Dawn by Maurice Quillinan. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,080.00 (€ 1,576.45), 35% above the upper estimate. With this result, Yellow Field At Dawn is even the most expensive work of art by Maurice Quillinan that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Mai 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion Irish Sale Part II durch, in der auch die Arbeit Yellow Field At Dawn von Maurice Quillinan zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.080,00 (€ 1.576,45) und damit 35% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Yellow Field At Dawn sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Maurice Quillinan, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
