The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 700.00 – 1,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 720.00 (€ 1,059.53) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Maurice Quillinan have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2006 the work Yellow Field At Dawn was auctioned for GBP 1,080.00 (€ 1,576.45).
