Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work Entrèe de Kandy by Maurice Levis for EUR 300.00. This price was achieved in the auction Dipinti e Sculture Del XIX e XX Secolo at Il Ponte and was even below the estimate range of EUR 400.00 – 500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Maurice Levis achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Dinandier, Constantine in December 2013 with an auction result of EUR 25,980.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Entrèe de Kandy von Maurice Levis für EUR 300,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Dipinti e Sculture Del XIX e XX Secolo bei Il Ponte erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 400,00 – 500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Maurice Levis erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Dinandier, Constantine im Dezember 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 25.980,00.
