The price achieved of GBP 1,440.00 (€ 2,137.14) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Maurice Levis achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Dinandier, Constantine in December 2013 with an auction result of EUR 25,980.00.

Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Maurice Levis erzielen.
