Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work "Bacchante Dansant" by Maurice Guiraud-Rivière was sold in the Important Winter Sale auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in December 2021. It achieved a price of SEK 24,000.00 (€ 2,341.05), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Maurice Guiraud-Rivière - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Les Trois Haleurs ou la Force circa 1925, which sold at auction in June last year for USD 8,287.50 (€ 7,916.23).

Die Arbeit "Bacchante Dansant" von Maurice Guiraud-Rivière wurde im Dezember 2021 in der Auktion Important Winter Sale bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von SEK 24.000,00 (€ 2.341,05) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20%. Für andere Arbeiten von Maurice Guiraud-Rivière mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Les Trois Haleurs ou la Force circa 1925 beobachtet, die im Juni letzten Jahres für USD 8.287,50 (€ 7.916,23) versteigert wurde.
