The work Delta by Maurice Cockrill was sold in the Modern British and Irish Art auction at Christies in London in March 2014. The auction ended at the price of GBP 2,500.00 (€ 3,025.88), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Admittedly, works by Maurice Cockrill have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Generation - Blue Space, Ii, (Marienbad.) in November 2016 with an auction result of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 23,598.03).
