Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Maurice Braun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Eucalyptus Trees in the Mist in October 2000 with an auction result of USD 127,000.00 (€ 149,658.26).

Die Arbeit The Valley (San Diego County) von Maurice Braun kam im Februar diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 11.475,00 (€ 10.823,43) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 64%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Maurice Braun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Eucalyptus Trees in the Mist im Oktober 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 127.000,00 (€ 149.658,26).
