Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Maurice Bompard achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La rivière d'El-Kantara in December 2013 with an auction result of EUR 76,146.00.

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.983,00 und damit 32% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Maurice Bompard erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La rivière d'El-Kantara im Dezember 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 76.146,00.
