The work French waiting: Odalisques In An Interior by Maurice Bompard was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in February 2018. Here, the upper estimate of USD 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 6,875.00 (€ 5,630.17). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Maurice Bompard achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La rivière d'El-Kantara in December 2013 with an auction result of EUR 76,146.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit French waiting: Odalisques In An Interior von Maurice Bompard kam im Februar 2018 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 6.875,00 (€ 5.630,17) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Maurice Bompard erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La rivière d'El-Kantara im Dezember 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 76.146,00.
