Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work Beside the sea by Maude Goodman for GBP 625.00 (€ 785.16). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Maude Goodman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Little Flower Girl in November 2005 with an auction result of GBP 3,600.00 (€ 5,288.85).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2008 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Beside the sea von Maude Goodman für GBP 625,00 (€ 785,16) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Maude Goodman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Little Flower Girl im November 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.600,00 (€ 5.288,85).
