The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,300.00 30% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Matti Haupt have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Torso. in June 2013 with an auction result of EUR 12,000.00.

Die Arbeit A Ballerina Sitting. von Matti Haupt wurde im November 2011 in der Auktion Modern + Contemporary, Helsinki F160 bei Bukowski in Helsinki versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.300,00 und damit 30% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Matti Haupt auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Torso. im Juni 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 12.000,00.
