Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 9.375,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 56 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mattheus Ignatius van Bree auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit An Elegant Couple Out Hunting With Their Dogs im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 61.000,00 (€ 39.182,94).
