However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Matthäus Terwesten - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work An Allegory of Peace, which sold at auction in May 2007 for EUR 20,400.00.

Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 6.875,00 (€ 6.197,60) einen neuen Besitzer.
