Admittedly, works by Mattheus Adolfsz. Molanus have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Landscape With Soldiers Fighting Outside A House in December 2013 with an auction result of GBP 43,750.00 (€ 52,624.46).

Die Arbeit Chasse À Courre von Mattheus Adolfsz. Molanus kam im Juni 2015 bei Sothebys in Paris zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 8.125,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 35 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mattheus Adolfsz. Molanus auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Landscape With Soldiers Fighting Outside A House im Dezember 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 43.750,00 (€ 52.624,46).
