Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Irm watching Margit by Matt Saunders was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2020. The price achieved of GBP 2,750.00 (€ 3,067.42) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 4,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Matt Saunders - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Borneo Fold (Rose Hobart) #10, Version 1, which sold at auction in June 2021 for USD 7,560.00 (€ 6,380.82).
