Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2007 Sothebys in New York held the auction Latin American Art, which included the work Sin Título by Matilde Pérez. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 31,000.00 (€ 21,105.66) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Matilde Pérez have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2008 the work Sin Título was auctioned for USD 37,500.00 (€ 29,541.52).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2007 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Latin American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sin Título von Matilde Pérez zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 31.000,00 (€ 21.105,66) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Matilde Pérez konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2008 die Arbeit Sin Título für USD 37.500,00 (€ 29.541,52) versteigert.
