Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Master SB could be acquired at Christies in New York in June last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Old Masters: No Reserves auction, the work Still Life With A Pomegranate, Peaches, Pears, Berries And Game changed hands for USD 5,040.00 (€ 4,814.21) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Master SB achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Plums, pears, apples, a melon, a basket of grapes and other fruit and mushrooms on a stone ledge; and Peaches, zucchini, artichokes, asparagus, grape-leaves and figs on a stone ledge in July 2009 with an auction result of GBP 121,250.00 (€ 137,582.41).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Master SB konnte im Juni letzten Jahres bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Old Masters: No Reserves wechselte die Arbeit Still Life With A Pomegranate, Peaches, Pears, Berries And Game für USD 5.040,00 (€ 4.814,21) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Master SB erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Plums, pears, apples, a melon, a basket of grapes and other fruit and mushrooms on a stone ledge; and Peaches, zucchini, artichokes, asparagus, grape-leaves and figs on a stone ledge im Juli 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 121.250,00 (€ 137.582,41).
