The work The Madonna at the Holy House of Loreto with Saints Anthony of Padua and Bernardino of Siena by Master of Staffolo was sold in the Old Master Paintings auction at Christies in New York in June 2012. The price achieved of USD 158,500.00 (€ 125,118.41) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 120,000.00 – 180,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The Madonna at the Holy House of Loreto with Saints Anthony of Padua and Bernardino of Siena is the most expensive artwork by Master of Staffolo that we have observed at auctions so far.
