In December 2020 Christies in London held the auction Italian Drawings From The Robert Landolt Collection, which included the work Head of a man with curly hair looking right by Maso Finiguerra. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 4,750.00 (€ 5,306.17), 58% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Maso Finiguerra achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A nude subduing another figure (recto); The head of a man wearing an elaborate helmet (verso) in January 2002 with an auction result of USD 105,000.00 (€ 122,178.26).

Im Dezember 2020 führte Christies in London die Auktion Italian Drawings From The Robert Landolt Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit Head of a man with curly hair looking right von Maso Finiguerra zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 4.750,00 (€ 5.306,17) und damit 58% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Maso Finiguerra erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A nude subduing another figure (recto); The head of a man wearing an elaborate helmet (verso) im Januar 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 105.000,00 (€ 122.178,26).
