Auction result misses estimated price range

In May last year a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Mashkoor Raza for GBP 484.50 (€ 569.97). This price was achieved in the auction Modern & Contemporary South Asian Art for a Pakistani Charity, the Welfare Society for Patient Care at Bonhams in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 500.00 – 1,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mashkoor Raza - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in May last year for GBP 1,275.00 (€ 1,499.92).

Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne

Im Mai letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Mashkoor Raza für GBP 484,50 (€ 569,97) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary South Asian Art for a Pakistani Charity, the Welfare Society for Patient Care bei Bonhams in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 500,00 – 1.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Mashkoor Raza mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Mai letzten Jahres für GBP 1.275,00 (€ 1.499,92) versteigert wurde.
