A top price for Mashkoor Raza - as previously expected
This work without title by Mashkoor Raza was sold in the Modern & Contemporary South Asian Art for a Pakistani Charity, the Welfare Society for Patient Care auction at Bonhams in London in May last year. The price achieved of GBP 1,275.00 (€ 1,499.92) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, this work without title is the most expensive artwork by Mashkoor Raza that we have observed at auctions so far.

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Mashkoor Raza wurde im Mai letzten Jahres in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary South Asian Art for a Pakistani Charity, the Welfare Society for Patient Care bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.275,00 (€ 1.499,92) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist dieses Werk ohne Titel das teuerste Kunstwerk von Mashkoor Raza, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
