A top price for Mary McCrossan - as previously expected

In November 2013 Christies in London held the auction Victorian, British and Impressionist Art, which included the work Piazza San Marco, Venice by Mary McCrossan. The price achieved of GBP 1,750.00 (€ 2,105.89) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Piazza San Marco, Venice is the most expensive artwork by Mary McCrossan that we have observed at auctions so far.
