Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Mary McCartney could be acquired at Christies in London in May 2015 for an unexpectedly low price. In the 20/21 Photographs: Photographs selected by James Danziger auction, the work Kate In Boots, April 2011 changed hands for GBP 5,625.00 (€ 7,820.97) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Mary McCartney have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dreamy in red dress, for Stella McCartney Autumn campaign, 2003 in September 2013 with an auction result of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 35,860.36).
