In the The Ann & Gordon Getty Collection: Volume 2 |Old Master, 19th and 20th Century Paintings, Day Sale auction, the work The Long Gloves changed hands for USD 201,600.00 (€ 202,939.40) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 250,000.00 – 350,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mary Cassatt achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Young Lady In A Loge Gazing To Right in October last year with an auction result of USD 7,489,000.00 (€ 7,538,755.79).
