The work Picasso/Vincent by Martin Sharp was auctioned at Christies in Sydney in March 2006. It achieved a price of AUD 1,135.25 (€ 670.08), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 42%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Martin Sharp achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Australian grand Nu in August 2008 with an auction result of AUD 13,200.00 (€ 7,705.47).

Die Arbeit Picasso/Vincent von Martin Sharp kam im März 2006 bei Christies in Sydney zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von AUD 1.135,25 (€ 670,08) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 42%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Martin Sharp erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Australian grand Nu im August 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von AUD 13.200,00 (€ 7.705,47).
