Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2013 a collector was able to acquire the work "Thure Gabriel Bielke" (1684-1763) by Martin van Meytens II for SEK 18,000.00 (€ 2,032.66). This price was achieved in the auction Autumn Classic Sale, Stockholm at Bukowski in Stockholm and was even below the estimate range of SEK 25,000.00 – 30,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Martin van Meytens II achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "King Fredrik I" (1676-1751) in June 2015 with an auction result of SEK 250,000.00 (€ 27,008.25).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2013 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit "Thure Gabriel Bielke" (1684-1763) von Martin van Meytens II für SEK 18.000,00 (€ 2.032,66) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Autumn Classic Sale, Stockholm bei Bukowski in Stockholm erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 25.000,00 – 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Martin van Meytens II erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "King Fredrik I" (1676-1751) im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 250.000,00 (€ 27.008,25).
