Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Foxes Attacking A Turkey by Martin Ferdinand Quadal for USD 6,000.00 (€ 5,141.39). This price was achieved in the auction Master Paintings at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Martin Ferdinand Quadal have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Two Dutch Rabbits With A Cabbage Leaf in October 2010 with an auction result of GBP 21,250.00 (€ 24,501.58).
