In June 2020 Sothebys in London held the auction The Dealer's Eye | London, which included the work A Man Blowing On A Lamp by Martin Ferdinand Quadal. It changed hands for a price of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 20,649.88) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Other works by Martin Ferdinand Quadal have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2010 the work Two Dutch Rabbits With A Cabbage Leaf was auctioned for GBP 21,250.00 (€ 24,501.58).
