This work without title by Marthe Wéry was sold in the Post-War and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Amsterdam in April 2017. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 11,250.00 61% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Marthe Wéry - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in October 2016 for GBP 32,500.00 (€ 36,205.98).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Marthe Wéry wurde im April 2017 in der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 11.250,00 und damit 61% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Marthe Wéry mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Oktober 2016 für GBP 32.500,00 (€ 36.205,98) versteigert wurde.
