The work Samo, 1982-2007 by Martha Cooper was worth EUR 1,859.00 to a buyer in February 2008. This price was achieved in the auction Graffiti Art at Artcurial in Paris and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of EUR 500.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Martha Cooper; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Duro, Doze, Mare139, Sha147, Daze, Pink, Crash Jumping From Amphiteater, Manhattan, 1982 - 2008 sold at auction in November 2021 with the realized price of EUR 2,860.00.
