Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Ya no hay corazón (Heartless) by Marta María Pérez Bravo was auctioned at Phillips in New York in February 2018. It achieved a price of USD 3,500.00 (€ 2,866.27), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Marta María Pérez Bravo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Kini-Kini (3 Photographs), which sold at auction in November 2011 for USD 13,750.00 (€ 10,220.77).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Ya no hay corazón (Heartless) von Marta María Pérez Bravo kam im Februar 2018 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 3.500,00 (€ 2.866,27) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Für andere Arbeiten von Marta María Pérez Bravo mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Kini-Kini (3 Photographs) beobachtet, die im November 2011 für USD 13.750,00 (€ 10.220,77) versteigert wurde.
