In November 2004 Christies in London held the auction PORTRAITS, BRITISH AND VICTORIAN PAINTINGS, which included the work Feeding Time by Mark William Langlois. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,912.00 (€ 2,750.40), 59% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Mark William Langlois; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot The toy vendor sold at auction in May 2004 with the realized price of GBP 3,346.00 (€ 5,020.23).
