Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Study of a Young Girl by Mark Senior was sold in the 20TH CENTURY BRITISH ART auction at Christies in London in December 2001. The price achieved of GBP 1,762.50 (€ 2,879.68) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mark Senior achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The tennis player in July 2021 with an auction result of GBP 52,500.00 (€ 61,567.14).
