The work Leap by Mark Justiniani was sold in the Modern & Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2012. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 75,000.00 (€ 7,466.43), 25% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mark Justiniani - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Spectator, which sold at auction in October 2013 for HKD 300,000.00 (€ 28,468.44).

Die Arbeit Leap von Mark Justiniani wurde im Oktober 2012 in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 75.000,00 (€ 7.466,43) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Mark Justiniani mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Spectator beobachtet, die im Oktober 2013 für HKD 300.000,00 (€ 28.468,44) versteigert wurde.
