The price achieved of GBP 1,680.00 (€ 2,438.43) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Marius Vasselon have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Roses, Poppies, Hollyhocks, Pansies and Wisteria in a stone urn supported by putti on a plinth in July 2021 with an auction result of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,727.07).
