The work Gloria Victis by Antonin Mercié was sold in the The Collector: Online auction at Christies in London in May 2021. The price achieved of GBP 9,375.00 (€ 10,908.03) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Antonin Mercié have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work French gloria Victis in May 2012 with an auction result of USD 104,500.00 (€ 84,519.57).

Die Arbeit Gloria Victis von Antonin Mercié wurde im Mai 2021 in der Auktion The Collector: Online bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 9.375,00 (€ 10.908,03) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden.
