Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2015 Sothebys in New York held the auction Selected Renaissance and Mannerist Works of Art Assembled by Fabrizio Moretti, which included the work The Angel Of The Annunciation by Mariotto di Nardo. It changed hands for a price of USD 85,000.00 (€ 75,287.87) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 70,000.00 – 90,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mariotto di Nardo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Christ And The Virgin In Glory With Six Saints, which sold at auction in December 2018 for GBP 175,000.00 (€ 194,965.52).

Im Januar 2015 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Selected Renaissance and Mannerist Works of Art Assembled by Fabrizio Moretti durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Angel Of The Annunciation von Mariotto di Nardo zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 85.000,00 (€ 75.287,87) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 70.000,00 – 90.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Mariotto di Nardo mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Christ And The Virgin In Glory With Six Saints beobachtet, die im Dezember 2018 für GBP 175.000,00 (€ 194.965,52) versteigert wurde.
