Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2002 a collector was able to acquire the work Paeonies by Marion Broom for GBP 293.75 (€ 475.28). This price was achieved in the auction British and Continental Pictures at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Marion Broom have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in July 2006 by the work Magnolias In An Oriental Vase at GBP 576.00 (€ 843.20).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2002 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Paeonies von Marion Broom für GBP 293,75 (€ 475,28) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion British and Continental Pictures bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 300,00 – 500,00. Andere Arbeiten von Marion Broom wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Juli 2006 die Arbeit Magnolias In An Oriental Vase mit GBP 576,00 (€ 843,20).
