Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Sosta in canale. Burano by Mario Vellani Marchi for EUR 1,200.00. This price was achieved in the auction Dipinti e sculture XIX e XX Secolo at Il Ponte and was even below the estimate range of EUR 1,300.00 – 1,400.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Mario Vellani Marchi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Val di Velo veronese in October 2014 with an auction result of EUR 5,600.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Sosta in canale. Burano von Mario Vellani Marchi für EUR 1.200,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Dipinti e sculture XIX e XX Secolo bei Il Ponte erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.300,00 – 1.400,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mario Vellani Marchi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Val di Velo veronese im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 5.600,00.
