Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Estate a Torcello. Burano by Mario Vellani Marchi was auctioned at Il Ponte in November 2016, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 1,800.00 – 2,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mario Vellani Marchi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Val di Velo veronese, which sold at auction in October 2014 for EUR 5,600.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Estate a Torcello. Burano von Mario Vellani Marchi im November 2016 bei Il Ponte versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.800,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 1.500,00 den Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Mario Vellani Marchi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Val di Velo veronese beobachtet, die im Oktober 2014 für EUR 5.600,00 versteigert wurde.
