Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Mario Vellani Marchi could be acquired at Il Ponte in May 2016 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo auction, the work Paris. Pont des Arts changed hands for EUR 900.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 1,100.00 – 1,200.00. Admittedly, works by Mario Vellani Marchi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Val di Velo veronese in October 2014 with an auction result of EUR 5,600.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Mario Vellani Marchi konnte im Mai 2016 bei Il Ponte für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo wechselte die Arbeit Paris. Pont des Arts für EUR 900,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.100,00 – 1.200,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mario Vellani Marchi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Val di Velo veronese im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 5.600,00.
