Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Merlettaie nell'interno. Burano by Mario Vellani Marchi was auctioned at Il Ponte in May 2016, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 300.00 – 350.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 250.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mario Vellani Marchi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Val di Velo veronese in October 2014 with an auction result of EUR 5,600.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Merlettaie nell'interno. Burano von Mario Vellani Marchi im Mai 2016 bei Il Ponte versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 300,00 – 350,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 250,00 den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mario Vellani Marchi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Val di Velo veronese im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 5.600,00.
