Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2016 a collector was able to acquire the work Case in Rio Giudecca. Omaggio a Semeghini by Mario Vellani Marchi for EUR 800.00. This price was achieved in the auction Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo at Il Ponte and was even below the estimate range of EUR 1,000.00 – 1,100.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Mario Vellani Marchi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Val di Velo veronese in October 2014 with an auction result of EUR 5,600.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2016 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Case in Rio Giudecca. Omaggio a Semeghini von Mario Vellani Marchi für EUR 800,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo bei Il Ponte erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.000,00 – 1.100,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mario Vellani Marchi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Val di Velo veronese im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 5.600,00.
