Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Women's costume in the Mestiza Qoyacha dance, San Jerónimo, San Sebastián and Saylla districts, province of Cusco, Cusco, Peru by Mario Testino was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2020. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 6,250.00 (€ 6,971.40). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mario Testino achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Exposed, Kate Moss, London in September 2020 with an auction result of GBP 225,000.00 (€ 248,099.08).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Women's costume in the Mestiza Qoyacha dance, San Jerónimo, San Sebastián and Saylla districts, province of Cusco, Cusco, Peru von Mario Testino kam im Juli 2020 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 6.250,00 (€ 6.971,40) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mario Testino erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Exposed, Kate Moss, London im September 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 225.000,00 (€ 248.099,08).
