Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Rito del fuego by Mario Segundo Pérez was sold in the Latin American Art Online auction at Christies in New York in October last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 5,040.00 (€ 5,073.49) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Mario Segundo Pérez have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Nochecita estrellada in November 2000 with an auction result of USD 28,200.00 (€ 32,436.16).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Rito del fuego von Mario Segundo Pérez wurde im Oktober letzten Jahres in der Auktion Latin American Art Online bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 5.040,00 (€ 5.073,49) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
