Auction result well in line with expectations
The work El Estanque by Mario Segundo Pérez was sold in the Latin American Sale auction at Christies in New York in November 2005. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 15,600.00 (€ 13,231.55) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mario Segundo Pérez - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Nochecita estrellada, which sold at auction in November 2000 for USD 28,200.00 (€ 32,436.16).

Die Arbeit El Estanque von Mario Segundo Pérez wurde im November 2005 in der Auktion Latin American Sale bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 15.600,00 (€ 13.231,55) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
