Upper estimate price exceeded by 38 %.
The work Paesaggio TV by Mario Schifano was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Il Ponte in November this year. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 11,000.00 38% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mario Schifano achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Stanza Dei Disegni in October last year with an auction result of EUR 1,302,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 38 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Paesaggio TV von Mario Schifano wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art bei Il Ponte versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 11.000,00 und damit 38% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mario Schifano erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Stanza Dei Disegni im Oktober letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 1.302.000,00.
