Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November this year Il Ponte held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Acquatico by Mario Schifano. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 40,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 45,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mario Schifano achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Stanza Dei Disegni in October last year with an auction result of EUR 1,302,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November diesen Jahres führte Il Ponte die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Acquatico von Mario Schifano zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 40.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 45.000,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mario Schifano erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Stanza Dei Disegni im Oktober letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 1.302.000,00.
